What do these mags belong too

Then don't look at them it's that easy. People that complain about the littlest things annoy me.

Puzzactly ... Isn't that one of the reasons for joining a forum like this ?
When you need advice or info it's free to ask.

These valuation threads are getting to be a PITA.

Seems like some people here complain when someone asks "What's it worth". Apparently some members even stopped using this site because people were asking for a value then posting the item on the EE after finding a value. What a crock of BS!!!
This site is all about people who know guns, how they work, how to fix them, which ones are best etc, all about guns, all about parts yet people are offended over "what's it worth"
Where else would a person find out gun/parts values better that here? in order to post on EE, you must name a price but how do you always find a fair price?
There is another way, sell on Ebay and let the bidders determine the value. Then, some people here would be offended because you sell on "evil bay" and not give all gun nutz a fair chance to buy.
Maybe a What's it worth? thread would help, but I think ebay is a lot better than having members complain because someone asks a valuation question.

It is a reasonable question, people ask because they want to learn more about this hobby. Just because it may be old common knowledge to some, there are always new people coming along. Everybody was once a beginner, and nobody is forcing anyone to provide an answer if they don't want to.

Nice to see help and accurate value came quick. P.S, I like the information on here, no matter what format!
Yes the vast majority on here are great and have a wealth of knowledge.

That's what it's all about gaining knowledge and also to pass it on to someone else that might have the same questions.

Say, what you want but these are "discuasion" forums... they are not for trade... period.

So many are now using the discussion forums to do an end run around the EE or to incite bids from readers, or to drum up interest for up coming EE ads... it is a bunch of clutter and potentially subverts the spirit of the rules... it is also lazy... use Google... Do your own research, and then post an appropriate ad with an appropriate price.

Wanna be a trader... then do your homework... don't ask everyone else to do it for you.

What a piss poor attitude.
This is a discussion board we discuss things like prices and such.

How do you think many people got here in the first place?

Do your own research

What do you think the OP is doing with this thread?!

Ok, now this is stupid. Posting on the EE is the same as posting in any other thread, when it comes to the amount of work. What is there to gain, about posting here or in the EE? Other than the EE will get more traffic. You aren't making a lick of sense.

Could you please show absolute proof of that? Because if true, the mods should ban them. Not seeing any bans over this issue, so......you are wrong.

Also, most internet pricing is US based. This is really the one major site that people can get info for pricing. Hmmm exactly what PC9 is doing; getting educated.

I have many items that I know the price down to the penny. I also have many items that I have somewhat of an idea as to price. I also have many more that I don't know where fair market value is. Sounds like your the guy who would also b###h if I posted an item for too high a price.

No... you are attempting to trade for items and using the "discussion" forum to generate income... that is what the EE is for and it operates under its own set of rules designed to protect sellers and buyers and the integrity of the forum.

Hoytcannon

You seem to have a lot of sales. Have you paid for a dealer membership?

I can't stand dealers who "subvert the spirit of the rules". (your words not mine).

Are you afraid that people like the OP are cutting into your dealer business?

I am not wrong... and it is becoming a problem... and scammers have zeroed in on using "valuation" threads to entice patsies.

The discussion forums are NOT the place for trade.
