If it WORKED, I would keep it...the 600m setting might get you to 200m with 9mm! You could figure out what the different elevations worked out to pretty easily and goof around at longer distances.
But with no front sight to line up with obviously it's pointless.
I would move the light to the LH side of the rifle - that looks to me like rail there? That way you can thumb it on and off with your support hand.
