What do you pay for ammo?

Excuse the expression, but I think I'm getting the shaft... What do you guys pay for a box (50 rounds) or .38 SPL, 9mm, and .40 cal? Thanks!
 
I was in a store today, saw some euproean ammo for the6.5x55 that was $19.95! :shock: :shock:

The prices are going down with the dollar going up the owner was telling me!!!
 
In Victoria, .38 Special goes for about $13.95/50 (on a single box basis) with 9mm about the same. Another two or three bucks for .40S&W. Obviously cheaper prices the more you buy.

That's way too much. Around here a box of .40 S&W is $12.85.

The local sports shop here in Yellowknife sells American Eagle .40 S&W at $23.95 per box of 50. UMC .25 auto is $14.95 per box of 50. Most 9 mm, .38, .357 etc is in the low to mid 20$ range. I don't even look at .44 mag and .45 LC!

Can you guess that there are lots of reloaders in this town! Welcome to the north!

No kidding !! We're taking your car though - after my Ram guzzles gas cross-country, the ammo won't be so cheap :lol:

Actually ammo here in town has come down in price nicely - I think 9mm and 38spec is $10/50 but I have bought any factory pistol ammo in quite awhile 8)
