What do you think about this green stock for an SKS

Not much to it. I stripped the old finish off with a chemical paint stripper, neutralized it and then a light sanding.

I filled in the bayonet groove with a piece of plywood to match and sanded flush.

Couldn't find a good green stain so I just used green paint and rubbed it in real hard with a stiff plastic sponge and wiped it off to have the wood grain show through.

Followed up with a clear satin sealer.

That's all there was to it.
 
It looks like work was put into it and it's definitely unique but I wouldn't buy one with a stock like that. For me it's original, classic look or Tapco'ed to hell tacticool. That's why I have more than one :)
 
You could give the mag a green finish too:
