What do you think my PP is worth?

I have an old Walther PP. I believe it was made around 1939-40-ish. The Waffenamt WaA359 indicates it was made around then. I have no history on this pistol, other than I purchased it from a fellow who bought it at a gun show. The high gloss finish is about 75% intact. I find it interesting that all serial numbers match, including the mag. How often do you find that? It must have spent its service life tucked in a holster.

Besides the bluing, how does it work? It is prohib BUT if it's made before 1946 it can be passed to a direct relative.
Maybe $400-$500.
I have seen a few of these that just don't work and thus are worth nothing.

Your 1st variation pistol serial block dates to 1941 according to:

Nice military issue example. A very good find.
