What do you use to keep your pistols from getting safe kisses?

Gun socks purchased from Amazon.ca. I can carefully "pile" them in my safe to maximize the space available. The biggest problem is figuring out which gun is in which sock.

These work great ..I have converted all mine to them.. hxxp://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/gun-storage/gun-cases/long-term-storage-cases-prod1850.aspx

Ooooo... nice! Same material as a gun sock but specifically shaped for pistols. I just put in an order for some parts yesterday and got the shipping confirmation before I saw this. I'll have to add it to my wish list.

I use the Benchmaster racks from Amazon. A six gun rack fits nicely on each shelf of my safe. (I have one of those safes with shelving down one side and long gun storage in the other half)

Snapsafe pistol racks, 2,4,6 and 8 gun models.

Socks or similar works well...can nuke the socks with WD40 every once in a while too for its moisture killing properties. Wipe the gun down when you return it to the sock.

Obviously not having too many for the space is the key problem.

Mount 2x4 sections in the rear of the safe/locker/what have you and then place wood dowels angled up. Works great for all but 22lr guns.

My next house will hopefully have a dedicated gun room so the guns will have plenty of room to not knock into each other...... :)

I use multi-mags, a tad expensive for magnets, but they work so damn well. I mount them on the sides of the safe muzzle down with them, a lot better than hanging them from the top in my opinion. Don't have to worry about bumping it and having them fall into your long guns.

The Sigs are store in their factory boxes for now. The rest are in soft padded pistol cases. While most will say they are prone to trapping moisture and rusting your guns, knock on wood, I haven't had any issues. These cases don't usually leave the house. I use a golden rod in my safe year round and my basement isn't damp.
