I have a bunch of 20/5 magazines that I would like to keep in pouches. One holds three (which I prefer) and the other one holds two. I would like to know what you guys are doing for pouches, how you like them and where you got them. Does anybody put two of them into a USGI M16 pouch sideways with the straps cut out? The ones I managed to get were strays on eBay. I need four of the pouches that hold 3 magazines.

i've got a mix- cf82's , real m14-canvas style- . m16/30( you put them in sideways)and of all things, mess kit covers( you get 6 in those) - if you get the messkit covers, try to get the type that accept a strap- or fix a strap to them

Tactical Tailor or London Bridge will have some M14 specific pouches.

Merely do a google search for these makers and their web sites will sort out your needs. Very serious shzt indeed. Enjoy !

mag pouch

Get yourself a BAR Belt. 12 pouches holding 2 each. Also get the combat suspenders as 24 mags and even loaded with 5 rounds weighs a bunch. rigrat

"...Get yourself a BAR Belt..." Yep, if you can find one. M-14 mag pouches aren't rare nor particularly hard to find though. CF C1A1 mag pouches will do as well. Or an old style CF combat shirt/jacket. The pockets are designed to carry mags. You can usually find lots of mag pouches at gun shows and surplus shops.

Just a note, if you get some 10rd mags, supposedly USGI compass pouches will hold a 10rd M14 mag nicely.
