what does $SPF mean?

It means the seller has done just enough research and site learning to be able to post a for sale ad but not how to remove the ad after the sale

Theres many a slip 'twixt "I'll take it," and "here's the money". Or do you just mark your ads for deletion as soon as someone says they're interested?

Somehow I’ve managed to delete every ad I’ve completed. Go into any EE category and search for SPF , there’s tons of old ads covered in cobwebs and spfdust

I'm not sure if some here know how to go to edit thread, then go to advanced and change to Please Remove in the title of their adds. I leave my adds up till I have the money in the bank and then ask them to be removed.

As I understand SPF is waiting for the money transfer and some people back out because the wife found out they were spending money or whatever their excuse, so the add might stay up in case it falls through. After the deal is done, your supposed to get the thread deleted ... there’s a sticky somewhere with the instructions for that.
