It's a Swede of some type, seems to be a well made sporter? Is it a factory sporter?

What does H.K. signify?

Does this rifle have any particular value? It's a very nice pointable rifle, I might want to put an offer in on it.:)

Looks like a G96 converted to M38 then sporterized by whoever. Good hunting rifle.

H.K. means Helge Gustaf Ludvig Kolthoff inspector at the Carl Gustafs Weapons Factory form April 1st 1912 to the February the 28th 1923. The rifle is a M/96 Long Rifle modified in a civilian hunting one with a german taste like a Stutzer Mannlicher-Shoenauer Carbine. Is the dipter sight from USA or Europe?

regards

That would be 1915.

Value? At gun shows I expects a seller would ask for $400.

Realistically, I'll hazard a guess at $325.00

all those bubbafication will limit t's value to $250 max.
But you never know, there might be somebody who is looking for this kind of rifle, and is willing to pay $350 for it.
