What Finish Do You See Here?

What is the seller asking for it? What caliber?
Yeah, also interested in knowing. At Canadian auction it is not unusual to see fair condition model 1883's fetch perhaps $1000(?)

Mine is a 38-55. One of the so-called B guns stamped For Blackpowder Only. 1906 manufacture if I remember correctly. The 'scratches' in the photo, aside from those around the loading gate, are mostly glare from my bench lamp reflecting off the swirls of conservator's wax that I slather on the steel for storage. I'll tidy it up and take some photos in natural light to post in the show us your leverguns thread. I have owned it now for 45 years and it has never been sanded or refinished - it was my father's and his father's before that. Original owner I believe was my grandfather's uncle. Shown here in an old photo along with Winchester from my maternal grandfather and that rifle is now my son's. He'll get the Marlin at some point too. We'll have to get them out shooting again when the weather turns fair.
