I bought a Mossberg 590 last week and installed a Knoxx Spec Ops stock on it. When I bought the stock Willwagspal asked me if I wanted the frorend from Hogue to go with it but I said no, stupid me
. When the rear stock cpmpresses it has a tendency to slide the hard synthetic forend though my hand.
I am trying to figure out whether I should go with the Houge Overmolded, also sold through Knoxx, or to go with the Pachmayr forend. The Hogue is half the price, but the Pachmayr advertizes pockets that reduce felt recoil in your support hand. I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on either one of these forends before I buy one.
