What gun do you think deserves a makeover? shoots well, but too homely to bring home

I have owned a few pistols and rifles that I classify as real FUGLY. Three that come to mind are: That Hi-Point 40 S & W that I had for 5 boxes of ammo, the S & W 22a and a Beretta Neo's. Each one of them made me throw up a little in my mouth, but THEY ALL SHOT EXCELLENTLY. I did end up selling them because I couldn't keep them,..........................they were really THAT ugly.
If they were even somewhat nice to look at, I would have kept them due to the accuracy of them, but alas, they were sent to another beauty pageant down the road.
What guns out there do you think are kind of too ugly to own, but have found them to shoot well?

Shoot good but ugly? Most guns made by Savage come to mind instantly, including the old 99's, and they don't necessarily shoot good.

Lots of old Mausers are ugly in their original form but once you pretty 'em up they're the nicest you can get.

The cheek piece on the Zastavas leaves much to be desired. Anything Savage made tends to lend itself to giving eye sores.

Another seakrit rifle with good shooting abilities.

They sure uglied up the Marlin levers, with those cross bolt safeties. And Rossi levers, with the safety atop the reciever.

Pretty much EVERY Russian/Soviet rifle I have ever seen is butt ugly! Apparently some of them shoot ok - but those rumours I think are the result of the surprise their owners get that something machined so poorly can even hit the side of a barn

H&R rifles meet the OP's criteria... they can shoot... and they ARE ugly... until they get a proper set of clothes... they clean up good...

Any Handi's I have ever owned were tack drivers.... I had a Survivor model in .223 and could barely take the ugliness.....

How about the Canoe Paddle M77's... they can shoot and are way up there for ugly...
