What gun does Special Agent Fox Mulder shoot on X-Files?

I am a big fan of the X-Files and have all the episodes on videotape. Which type of gun does Special Agent Fox Mulder shoot in the show? I'd like to have one like that.

Since he's FBI, I would guess a Sig Sauer 228. I believe they converted to Glock 22 in the mid 90's, right around when the show was made... so could be either one.

If you buy new you won't get an exact match because the current production Glocks all have a rail molded into the plastic underneath the barrel and finger grips on the handle (Nine picked up on the absence of the rail and we can't see the grip to determine if it's a Gen1 or a Gen2). All full-size Glocks look pretty much alike so unless you're a purist, any Glock in any caliber will look almost identical to Mulder's gun.

the glock22 is the perfect anti-alien gun. ;)
 
yeah I thought they both used SWs in the early years as well. Full size series.
 
i used to watch the show on a fairly regular basis..he carried a number of different guns.
i think he started with both glocks & beretta's(9mm at that time),switched to
a stainless s&w with those blocky adjustable sights, & near the series end i believe he used both sig p226 & p228's.
he also had a walther ppk as a back up.
 
It depends what season of the show you are watching. In the beginning he had a Glock 19, and Scully a Walther PPK/S. Next they switched to Sig's P228. Even later they switched to S&W 1076 in 10mm (the official sidearm of the FBI at the time). And in the last few seasons of the show they carried Sig P226.

I know of a member here that claims he has the 10mm pistol that was used on the set!:cool:

He is a regular that I have dealt with and I believe him.......:D

Now if he would just sell it to me.................:dancingbanana:
