What gun to get next??

I would say that you would do well to have both a 22lr, and a 223rem. I use my 22lr to practice my standing shooting at a spinner, and a 223rem is great as a handloaders cartridge because it's about 1/2 the price of the 30-06 to load for. I won't go without either one of those ever again myself.

If you are looking for a upland hunting shotgun a 28 gauge would be nice.There are many to chose from in your price range.Ithaca now has a 28 gauge pump Model 37 that would go great with your 12 gauge model.
