What Gun to get ???

No really I need to know which of those patch guns is the one to get. Is there any one out there who can tell me any thing about these ? Like where to get the rolls of patches and any thing at all. Actually I need two of them now and more latter I would like to have one for every range that way we can speed things up a bit. This is what I like about this board it can save you a lot of steps in getting some thing that you know squat about. :confused:

I forgot to mention that they will be used primaraly for the IPSC matches at the club. :redface:

I have used the patch gun that Walter provided the link for, but to be honest there is higher quality patch guns out there...

Our club has had 3 of them for a couple of years now with absolutley no complaints.

I am not sure if there are any sponsors at the top of the page that sell these guns but they are well worth the difference in cost. I have dealt with Target Barn on numerous occasions... not sure if he would ship to Canada (since we usually see him and pick up our stuff at matches in the States), but it is worth a try.

the patchguns in the second posting is what I have I got it from Wolf in Kingston. He normally has them in stock.

+1 for Quickpatch; the one 2Filty and HS are talking about.

1. They are made by Jim Decristo - he's in upstate NY - and shot at last year's Ontario provincials, and the 2004 Nationals. He will be at this years nationals and I believe he is a sponsor.

2. Wolf Bullets is the Canadian importer for these guns. Patches are also available from Wolf, so in Ontario - very quick access to patches.

3. I've had a collection of them distributed to members here to make matches go faster and they work well.

4. They are a full sized patch - just like the ones that come on the sheets. It's a lot easier to cover up a 45 hole with one of these than the other one out of the USA.

Subtle hint: You're probably going to see a lot of these at this year's nationals. I can't go into more detail that that. ;)
 
Thanks guys for the responses. and thanks Sean for the incite. I think I will give Wolf a call and he can deliver them to the May 13th match at Peterborough Fish and Game that he is shooting with us. ( shame full plug ):cool:
