What happened here?

It's tulammo, also primer is blown right out of the casing..
Should I be worried about damage to the rifle?

Is there damage to the rifle? If it is no primer hole(you can see that in the case. A primer hole won't get made in the case.), there will be some kind of damage. Far more likely to be bad ammo.

I hope you don't have whole lot of that stuff, because I certainly would not be putting it in my gun.
Tear the whole lot apart and save the powder, that way youll get to see if theres a primer hole or not.

That's the first issue Iv had with it.. I have 40rds left, don't think ill buy it again..
No damage to the rifle that I can see..

My first thought is the case drawing thinned the head too much, or the extractor groove was cut too wide, so that there was very little material left between them. It going to take to a longitudinal sectioing of the case to prove or disprove. Of course, if that is what happened, it could very easily affect the whole lot of ammo.

It's a crack in a steel case. It is above the primer pocket. A primer does not have enough power to crack a steel or brass case, primer hole or not.

Defective case. Move along............
