hey,

I was at a bullseye match recently where some guys were talking about a major change in direction for AGC, how the new exec is very much in the direction of IPSC, PPC, etc...

Any updates, anyone? What's going on?
 
Hi there what you like to know they still shoot alot of bullseye there and now they shoot PPC / IPSC and Cowboy shoots too

can we either go forward of the line, or put up targets on stands closer than the 25m back stop, for ipsc practise?
 
Yes, the AGC got it's approval for IPSC, and the first class (with me in it) has gone through, (and also did our first match last weekend at barrie).. There is a good mix on the board of PPC, Cowboy, IPSC, and Target, so all disiplines are getting some attention

we have a second class going through soon as well..

as for the IPSC practices, I think that still needs to be offically decided by Ken our safety officer.. it should be decided, and communicated at the next board meeting (Feb 22nd). I should have it posted on the members area of the AGC web site, once it's finally decided on..

As JB said there are still the usual bullseye and chowboy shoots going on as well.. (don't forget the new turning target system that was just put in as well!)

yes you can hang your targets at 7yds 15 and 25
