What Happened to Bushnell Customer Service?

I emailed Bushnell to open a ticket to request warranty repair on a scope. A week later they emailed me back and asked me to call them lol.

I called Bushnell and a recorded message stated that wait times were high and that they were undergoing major changes....ok.

I opted to have an agent call me back. They called me back later in the day however the line was dead air.

I called the customer service number again and another message stated the queue was currently closed. No way to request a call back or wait on hold...simply disconnected.

I called again today and have been oh hold for 47 minutes and still waiting....

These guys used to have excellent service.

Burris has been fantastic. Vortex has been fantastic. Leupold has also been stellar. WTF Bushnell?

I just went through the same experience. I thought it was a one off but obviously not. My story is to long to post but in the end, I’m sad to see what Bushnell has become. I have used there products for over 20 years with reliable service for the most part. How things have changed in both product and service.
 
I called a month ago, waited..... for hours... things you can do with a desk job....

Finally got through. Asked if the Toronto location drop off center was open before I drive there ( still shows on some web sites)..... well the Guy from Arkansas said no and everything goes to the US to repair.
 
You're paying 'up front' for the likelihood of needing that replacement from 'V' , Not for product quality/features.
 
Bushnell has closed their Warranty Claims Centre in Canada.
Now everything is through the US.

OK I got lucky. After an hour on hold I spoke to a veteran who was great. Sadly, Bushnell does NOT repair anything! It gets crushed if it is defective. Scary if you have an Elite 6500 I would say.

Being in Canada, until they make some major changes, we no longer return items to Bushnell as they no longer have an office in ON.

In the end, they are sending me a new scope and I am keeping the defective one. I got a great agent with prior service and as a current serving member, I think he went above and beyond to help me out given the headaches. YMMV.
 
THANKS very muchfor this info. I'm saving this thread in a .doc file since I have 3x Bushy-scopes. No probs but I'm still young, only 74 :rolleyes:

Vista/Revelyst recently put Bushnell thru a major reorganization/downsizing. Equity firms downsizing one of their holdings is not usually a good sign IME. But George Gardner of GAP says the streamlined company is moving to Bozeman and headed in the right direction. Here’s hoping! I’ve been a fan and user of the Elite Tac line for quite awhile now. The new XRS3 EQL is very good for the money.
 
I sent in a Bushnell right during their transition, had patience even when emails were not promptly replied to
Once things were settled I rec'd an email that an order for a replacement was on its way, within 10 days it was rec'd
No complaints here

I doubt Korth does any repairs now too, at least on the more common models, they replaced a Vari-X III with a VX-3HD, again no complaint here

Its not T Hos guys, expecting a voice is asking alot
