What happened to muzzle loader kits in Canada?

I can't find a muzzle loader kit to buy. Traditions deer hunter is what I would like. Are they not imported anymore?

Cabelas has Tradtions kits but maybe not much selection. Could try talking to them and see if they can bring in the model you want.

I have brought in 3 flintlock kits from Kibler Long rifles without any issue. The last one arrived a few weeks ago. Not sure if there are limitations on cap lock rifles.

You can order flintlock as they are classed
As antique, or non firearm. As far as percussion guns
Anything made prior to 1898 is classed as antique
And requires no licenses or permits. However
Reproduction guns are a diff story, a dealer or importer would need to get one across the border.
So in closing...flintlock...new or antique...no regulations...percussion if made before 1898...same thing....if made after 1898.. Reuqires PAL and an importer

You can order kits from , kibler...track of wolf, sitting fox, peticonica river...( flint ) no issues...but be prepared for $$$$ and work assembling/finishing
