I found this scope sitting around a while ago, and am wondering if anyone knows anything about it, and/or its value in Canada.

You could take it to an MP shack and ask them ;)

Anyway it's a night scope of some sort... I'm sure someone will be along here in a bit to tell you what exactly it is.
 
Yeah, I think its supposed to mount to an m16a2 (its also marked US).

It has an eye cusion type thing, but its not in the pic.
 
Since it says on the instructions to leave the cover on during the day,and also not to look at any bright light sources,I'd hazard a guess you have a night vision scope or monocular.
Change the batteries and give her try.

I would hazard a guess that its an AN/PVS-2 Gen 1. You're probably looking at a $1000 CDN. Not a scope expert by any means, but thats what it looks like. Markings sync up pretty well anyway...
