What have I got??

I have a Mark IV, No. 1, 1943; marked US Propoerty, England stamped on the two groove barrel, and either the letter S (or a square 5) stamped by the serial number and on the metal bands etc. What is the $ value, full wood in good condition??? Thanks.

You have a No4Mk1, Not a No1 Mk4. It was made by Savage. Typically worth, in good shape, say, $325 to $450 depending on how good it is.
