What height of scope mounts do i need?

I recently bought a Tikka T3 and the scope I purchase to go with it is a 3x9x50...When buying a new mounts what height do I need? 1" Low or Medium?

When talking about 50mm objectives we generally need high rings. I would have a local dealer try the medium rings first but most likely you will need high.

Depends on the rings too... the Optilocks are really high, you would easily get away with medium rings if you are considering them. What kind of rings are you looking at?

I'm looking at the Sako rings....Problem is that all the local stores I have tried are sold out of the Sako ones
