So, I was sitting around the house with nothing to do today. Bored out of my tree. So I start rummaging through my boxes of crap and find a cheap old Ruko 3-9x40 scope. Hmmmm. What can I mount this on? So I rummage around some more and find my spare BRS-99 top cover. Then I found a AR-15 picatinney rail that is designed to mount on the lower handguard. So I am looking at the scope, the rail and the dust cover and then I find my spare 10.5" extended BRS-99 barrel. Now we got something here. I fire up the drill press, clamp the rail to the top cover, drill some holes. Fire up the dremel and deburr the holes. Looking good so far. Grab my rivet gun and a couple of rivets and slam them home. Rail is nice and solid, no wiggle and there to stay. Fire up the dremel and trim the heads inside the cover to clear the bolt. Slap it together and rack the bolt twice. Trim a little more off the rivet heads and it is good to go. I mount the scope and try it out. The eye relief is perfect. Now all I have to do is hit the rifle range and see what I can do at 100 meters with it. Total time including rummaging was 40 minutes. Total cost was 45 dollars or so...

lol nice day you must have had there...

you figure you got room for a cupholder on it as well? ;)

2 sunshades should put it past the end of the barrel. Pity I do not have a 8-32x50mm scope kicking around! That would be the shzt!

Now all I need is an SKS clamp on bipod... and it will be the feared Polish Special Forces Tactical Sniper Radom BRS-99 Semiautomatic Submachinegun Tactical Force Multiplier and Insurgent Reducer (say that 10 times in a row quickly) as used in combat by Polish Army Tactical Semiautomatic Snipers in Iraq!

Ha, I love it!

You need to put a massive sunshade on that scope that extends past the barrel.

Between the scope and mount, the cheap ebay laser in the front handguard, the threaded stock length barrel and the fake Cobray silencer there is not a whole lot of room! Gonna have to take a pic of it fully tarted out as it is getting to the point of giving a mall ninja a run for their money with their tricked out AR15's!
