what if i fit this in my mosin?

Should be okay, headspace is set, if I remember correctly, by the front, lugged section of a Moison bolt.

Buy the thing, assemble it to your rifle, then get the headspace checked.

It is a real good idea to get the headspace checked on ALL surplus rifles, especially if serials are not all matching.
