tough one. they are odd-ball, hard to find a stock for example, and probably impossible to find parts unlike a Ruger M77, Rem 700, or Win M70. bare actions of the aforementioned are worth in the $300-600 range.

Unless someone had a stock for one already, or was willing to make or adapt one, that action would be pretty difficult to sell.

While they are a good sound action, they are one I would take as a gift but would not buy. No parts. Nothing which sets them above others. Regards, Bill.

Sounds like you want to make a stainless gun.........you mention chrome plating in your other post. Plating causes lots of tolerance problems and not adviseable. Why not advertise ..."trade for stainless action" ...might get a Savage, Remington or Winchester. If selling the action, it's worth $250.00 to 300.00. As Mr Leeper stated .... there's nothing which sets them above the others.

Somebody on the board did have a stock....thought it looked very good and hence his price......about 275.00 if I recall.

You could also trade for a good Mauser action like a 1909 Argentine or Pervian....your mentor would be very proud of you when you showed up with that.

Folks....somebody should be able to help this guy out!!!!!
