What is a fair value for a Steyr GB?

I'm going to buy my bud's Steyr GB (with 1 mag) and I want to make a fair offer. I've not found a lot of info on Canadian pricing. In the US I've seen asking prices from around 800 to 1400 on the gun boards.
What are your thoughts on prices in Canada?

That is the correct range. You haven't described condition though. FYI there is one on Gun Broker with a buy now of 1495.00 that is not that clean. Even taking into account the high asking prices there, if the gun is nice 1000.00 wouldn't be out of line. There aren't that many around . Parts for this gun will be hard to find although I have only read good things
about their reliability and great features (Fixed barrel, Gas delayed etc.).

The last one I saw sell on CGN a year ago or so, went for 700 I believe. It was in good shape. It actually sat on there for several days surprisingly, but once it sold the WTB adds started to pop up. I regret not jumping on it too. Very highly regarded. 800-900 would be reasonable. if it has all the original paper work and box and is in excellent shape, maybe more.
