what is a good budget shell with speed of 1350 fps

1350 fps trap loads?

The Winchester super target loads I shoot are 1145 fps in 1 1/8th oz.
and the 1 oz is 1180.
Where is the 1300 + velocity coming from in factory Winchesters?

Mastema.....when was the last time you paid$49.99 for super targets ? Thats a great price these days

Last week. http://www.alflahertys.com/product.php?pr_id=696&pr_code=&search_string= They also have super speeds at the same price.

I'm sorry they not actually called super targets but work just as well.

At one time Winchester did produce a 1 ounce, 1,350fps Super Target but no longer according to their website. I haven't seen any in the last 5 years or so.

Winchester makes a AA SuperHandicap load that is 3 dram 1/1/8 oz that I believe is 1250 fps. I think they make a AA 1 oz that goes 1300 fps. These usually go for $70 flat
Most regular trap are 1145

Winchester makes a AA sporting load. One oz at 1350. They also make a one oz. Super Field at 1350. The super field is the same price as super target. I can not tell the difference between the AA and Super Field. Both break targets well but I prefer slower one oz loads.

For good budget you may consider Kent Velocity® Diamond. They have 24 grams at 1350FPS. You can get them at 72CAD per flat(tax included). Winchester AA international load is also 1325 and Winchester AA sporting clays shells are 1ounce at 1350, but they will cost you 83CAD per flat(tax included).
You can reload the shells yourself and that will cost you 46CAD per flat for 7/8. If you are interested in reloading then I have all the information you need to move forward. Just let me know.

Difference between AA and SF

It is very simple. Just take them to North American Trap range and shoot the targets at 25 to 27 yards:ar15:. You will see a huge difference although both of them are illegal for ATA competitions:D.

Old thread, but Kents are the cheapest in 24g 1350fps at $64 before taxes. Clever is ~$74 before taxes for T3s, $64 before taxes for T2s and the T1s are generally really terrible, I don't know how cheap they are though.

You might try Prairie Shot in Carberry, MB. I have toured their factory, if you put in a big enough order perhaps they would make you one.
I will be buying their shells for this year. One more excuse to go home and visit family. I have tried their shells and am happy so far.
