what is a good red dot for a norinco m 305

Hey everyone as you may well know by the title i am looking to put a red dot sight on my m 305 and wondering what recommendations any of you may have out there...been looking at the bushnell red dot trophy at the moment a little worried that it may sit too high on the rifle as i am mounting it to a b square mount .

Do a search on cowihitness m14 and there you will find what red dots are the lowest bushnell has one but I can't recall the name ... Also a mini reflex would be real low I have a first strike mounted on my 870 tactical and it has survived many boxes of slugs

I run a fast fire on the sage stripper clip rail section. I love it.
Won't co witness though.

I'm pretty sure the only way to co-witness a red dot on an M14 is with an Ultimak M8 rail. I've tried the UTG rail and the Springfield scout mount with a TRS-25 and an EOTech on both and all combos were a bit to high to co-witness.

The Bushnell TRS-25 is a best buy for the money and it will sit lower than most other dots.

Bushnell TRS-25 is a great red dot and its pretty inexpensive.I have had a Sparc and still own 2 of the TRS.
With my ultimak the TRS will cowitness with the iron sights.And it does sit a little lower than the Sparc.
