I am acquiring a Stainless Ruger #1, 375 H&H and while I love the stainless, I'm not so sure I like the looks of the laminate. Ruger doesn't offer wood with the stainless or sell the wood stocks afterwords. So I hopped onto google looking for a wood replacement (Preferably with a cheek piece) And I came across some for sale on ebay (Item number 380074037472 if your interested in checking it out). Anyway, the stocks are advertised as "Semi-Inlet" I assume that means it needs final fitting? Is that something an average joe like myself can do at home? or are we talking precise dremeling, wood chisels, and routers?
Thanks.
