What is a Winchester model 1905 in .32 worth?

I've got a chance at one but no idea what to offer. I read elsewhere that you can make brass out of M1 carbine, if anyone can verify that for me.

I've seen only a couple come up for sale, and prices were low, like maybe $200.00 as I recall. The rifles I saw were in shootable but not pretty shape.

Even in real good shape, I wouldn't pay more than $250. Check the forend for cracks, thay are prone to that.

Cool little gun, but pretty much useless for hunting. Condition is everything, but no more than $350 for a great example. What was the asking price?

Brass can be made from 30 Carbine, although 32-20 works well too. As for loads, 12.0 grs of 2400 or H4227 under a 150-165gr bullet works well.

Did you do a search in the EE? There was one for sale a few months back.

Ah, here it is! I would pay that for a 1907 possibly, a 1905 never.
