Serial number number 37,337.
Barrel lug for a saber bayonet.

Does anyone own one in Canada ?

Thanks for any responses.

Thanks mooncoon,

This is not my Sharps New Model 1859 rifle---although they are my photos taken on Saturday September 9th on my kitchen counter.

I have never seen one before in Canada.
Plenty of examples in the U.S. in varying condition----some very nice.
