What is the best lock in your opinion to lock your guncase and luggage? I have heard that some guys use the Travel Sentry Lock with the TSA Code that airline can open it to check baggage and not destroy the lock. I just dont like the idea that they can check my baggge with out me being present and opening the lock myself. Has anyone ever had the airline cut off your lock and then lock it up again with another lock they had as this happened to a friend of mine when he went hunting. I will be travelling to RSA so my bags will be checked all the way through to Johanesberg.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Once the gun case has been inspected, and locked, no one should be opening it up anymore at all, unless you the owner are present, my case was inspected in TO, locked and sealed, was not opened until final destination, I then opened up the case, produced all my paper work, closed my case, locked it and went on my way.

As for luggage, none of my stuff was ever opened, ever, unless I was present, my luggage is not always locked, but it has never been opened, there are ways of securing your luggage and know if there was any tampering or opening of it.
