This seems to be the main gist from most people. I’d offer that a “new” gun that every punter has picked up and dry fired a few times isn’t new either, but if a store sells it...

I have sold guns on the EE as new in box only if I bought the gun from and store, kept it in its box and never used it.

If you fired it even once I say it's used. Not that a couple shots really make it any different than a new gun.
