What is it? #2 (pics)

What is this cartridge? I assume this is a 30-06 blank. It seems like red wax in the neck. I was given a few of these.

The headstamp:

Would "WRA" represent Winchester Repeating Arms?

Here it is beside a 30-06 Duplex (A wierd cartridge too?):

it was either a blank or maybe even a flare round. I had several boxes of those at one time that were both flare rounds and blanks. They had a cardboard disc that was sealed with wax in the case mouth, just below the crimp.

Its a M1909 Blank cartridge made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1957.

On top is a standard red overwad. Nothing rare... lots of them out there.

Cool, it's a blank, just as I thought. What do you guys think of that crazy duplex round? Stuffing 2 bullets in a cartridge seems like a pretty wild idea to me.

"...Grenade cartridge..." Nope. Standard training blank. They will launch a practice rifle grenade out of an M1 though. Just not as far. 50 yards or so. Great fun, so it is.
