What is it?

I am baffled by what this thing is and am asking here because it may be military surplus. The only markings on it is Lockheed Wagner which is on the rubber cushion around the aperature. My camera crapped before I could take a photo of the aperature but in the center of the large piece at the end is a hole about 1/8" in diameter. The piece appears to be a peep sight and some that is removed or installed on a regular basis judging from the screw clamps on the small end and the large end with the aperature is adjustable both vertically and horizontally with click stops. Could be some sort of bomb sight maybe but I await the opinions of more learned people

its a target sight off a Walther , Mauser or Anschuts Target .22 1935ish could you post a pic of the other side of the screws? and aperture. most likly a Walther mod V.

you don't need to do more pic. thats what it is . but it appears to be made by a different company (sub contractor or aftermarket )with a different type aperture installed.
