What is Non-Resident accually mean?

Hey there,

Just trying to figure out what Non-Resident means. Does it mean that if I live around 73 and want to hunt in 41 I have to get a non-resident tag or does it mean if somebody from out of province comes to hunt here, they need a non-resident tag?

A non-resident is someone out of province. I am not sure how long you have to reside in Ontario to be allowed to have a residents license.

non resident...means your from another province or country

A Non resident is anyone who has not lived in the province they intend to hunt for atleast 6 consecutive months, during the 12 months before the hunt.

Ok Thanks guys. Thats what I thought and just wanted to make sure. My friend was telling me that I needed to buy a non-resident to go hunting up north.

Well he always went hunting with his dad and doesn't accually know too much, I got my pal before him and he has been hunting for 10 years with his dad. I will gladly let him know though
