Had this question posted in the Optics, but nobody replied. Maybe will have better luck here.
I just got a rooster33 extended rail and would like to set up Elite 3200 on it untill
I save enough money for Leupold. What is the best way to set up Elite 3200 on the rail without removing the iron sights of course?

I use an Armalite one piece base however the Leupold I have has a great deal of eye relief and the rear sight isn't an issue.

You might be better off getting a riser and figuring ring it out from there.

I know...

The rooster rail is a few mm lower than the other rails. The clearance between the rear sight and the scope using the Armalite mount is pushing it.

vs. a riser

And the other mount which gives the extra few mm of clearance to mount a scope that doesn't have as much eye relief

What 3200 will you be mounting?

Heres how I've got mine set up right now.
Bushnell 3200 in Leupold (low) QRW rings.
Gets you down onto the stock - no need for a cheekpiece.
Sorry 'bout the crappy pics, its the best I could do this morning:redface:

Thanks canuck. That is exactly what I was looking for. Do you find that the best set up is using low rings vs. medium or high? What is the best place to buy them?

I wouldn't say its the best, but its one of the more inexpensive ways to go
I've never tried the med or hi rings, the low ones worked so thats what she got ;)
If you can't find a used set from the board, they are around $80 or $90 at Wholesale Sports
I should add that the Bushnell scope could use another 1/4"-1/2" of eye relief when used in this manner, but I think its better than the scope sitting up above the diopter
