Hello gunnutz!

I am looking at some handguards and I see 3 different kinds. Specifically Aero Precision handguards: M-Lok, K-Mod and Quadrail.
What is the difference between these? Is there an advantage of one over the other? Is Aero good or Would you recommend another brand?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The differences are the accessory attachment interface, quadrail is the traditional picatinny rails with the perpendicular block and groove it is the heaviest out of the three, K-mod has keyhole shape slots and M-lock has pill shape slots, they uses different attachment interface not really interchangeable, they are both pretty light.

Thanks for clearing it up for me. Which is more popular tho? for which will you be able to find more attachments?

You can get rail sections for key mod and m-lok, to put a railed accessory pretty much anywhere. I've got a free float quad rail on mine, and it is rather front heavy... Also, the rail will chew your hands up if you don't put rail covers on, or wear gloves.

Hard to say which is more popular, quadrail have been the only choice for years so accessories are easier to find, however more and more manufacturers are coming out accessories for K-mod and M-lock. Honestly I say pick the one that is the most aesthetically pleasing to you ;)
