What is the lightest 1022 available ?

he challenged the CBA when they banned some mags he was importing and he took it to court.
was to do with the Ruger BX25 mags.

not only did the judge side with the CBA he asked why other 25 round mags where being allowed in, hence they came after the other mags.

They do make a pistol 10/22

Necropost!
I just acquired this little 10/22 and was truly blown away by how light it was!
I remembered this past thread where there was much speculation and even some outright denial about some of the claimed weight figures of a .920 Aluminum barrel and Axiom stock combo.
First off, I have no affiliation with the member named little_airwolf and am aware of his history...that said, I do feel like he was called-out unfairly in this thread and he was stating the truth about the weight of his rifle.

Heres the specs on mine...

-factory receiver and bolt
-whistlepig 10" Charger barrel factory fluted and threaded
-factory polymer trigger-group
-Blackhawk! Axiom stock
-williams ace in the hole rail
-Holosun 403 RDS

His claims got lighter and lighter. In this thread alone he claimed 3.7 lb loaded. However somewhere he tries to say it was under 3.5 lb with optic and ammo. I called him on it he could not back his claim up. Yours looks like more than 3.7 with ammo too.

I really don't care who's 10/22 is lightest, as they are not as accurate, just light.

I just weighed 10 rounds of 36gr CCI Minimags and they scaled at 1.05ozs... so add that to the scaled weight of 3.65lbs and I get 3.71 lbs.

I took this rifle in trade from my buddy and have seen it shoot firsthand and it’s plenty accurate. I’ve had three whistlepig barrels and they all shot tight and were of great quality.

Title of the thread is “lightest .22 available”, so whether or not you’re interested I feel it’s well within the spirit of the thread to post a picture of the lightest 10/22 I have ever seen, owned or held.
