Saw a vide yesterday saying the Chinese version is a cheap alternative to have for the price, to accompany the GLOCK

This was to do with budget in mind.

The AR15 was suggested for Riffle

What would you recommend for a SHOT GUN???
 
Norinco NP22. Rumoured to be a fairly decent copy for the price. SFRC and other supporting vendors above would be the first places I'd check.

AR-15s are awesome fun. Norinco has one around the $600-700 price range, but for a bit more, you can work out NEA or Aero Precision, and a bit more than that you're into some really good quality rifles. SFRC, Questar, OneShot, and many other vendors above.

Lots of shorties to choose from, but Remington 870 and Mossberg 590A1 are two top, affordable pumps. (Also look at Grizzly).

I am not a hunter...just need to do target practice short and long range, become proficient and have fun. In my line of work we use the C7 / C8 and the Browning

IMHO you are crazy if you buy any AR other than a Colt from irunguns. The prices are CRAZY right now, and their quality is top-notch.

You need a little patience waiting for the import, but saving the ton of money makes up for it...

I use Remington 870s at work, but bought myself a Mossberg 590 for personal use. If budget is a concern the Maverick 88 is a great budget copy of the Mossberg 500, actually made by Mossberg.

You can only run one working pistol at a time, so I suggest you focus on the rifle and shotgun before looking into the NP22.

AH yes, I forgot about irunguns' batch of Colts - excellent pricing for "the" name in ARs. (Not to be confused with Dimaco's $2000+ for a semi-C7 :)
