What is the new Firearm-trade registration thingy called

Not sure whats the matter with me but I'm entirely blanking on what that new system's name is.

The New RCMP Portal that requires you to input your PAL and the PAL of the individual you're doing a trade with, which then logs that a trade was made between these two individuals.

Does anyone know the name of it? And when it was put in place?

Op might have confused "what might happen" against "what did happen" - that system is to get a number - by the seller - to verify the PAL of the buyer. I have had it done twice so far with two different sellers. That CFC system sends me an email that there is a message on their system that I can see who verified my PAL and what that confirmation number was. Nothing at all entered about whatever got transferred between people, if anything even happened at all. The "number" apparently confirms that one person verified the validity of the other person's PAL - meaning that card that you get is about useless.
