Just wanted to check and see what the prices and availability in the different provinces across our country.
While in Toronto, 22 was hard to find now that I am in the laurentian valley it is plentiful. The cdn tire up here has some selection and is charging 29.99+taxes for a 500rd brick of American Eagle 22lr. They also currently have over 140 bricks in stock.

That's what I paid in Manitoba 3 years ago, no idea what it is now tho.But if I remember correctly there was 10 boxes of 40=400 rds. I been known to have been wrong before tho.

The boxes in the bricks out here that I have bought are 50rds/box, 10boxes/brick, and 10bricks/flat(case). The cdn tire out here did a mass order 18-24 months ago so they were able to pay for it when the dollar was in OK shape. Plus they are still selling it here a lil lower than I have seen at other places. I remember when it was 2.49 plus tax for a 100rd plastic sleeve of cci. Man were those the days, lol. Too bad minimum wage back then was 4.85/hr.

A buddy of mine bought a brick of 500 lead round nose American Eagle for 37.99$+tax the other day. He's a brand new .22 owner and didn't really bat an eyelash at the price since he's never experienced any different. Now, the store he bought it from is notorious for overpricing their stock, but I must say, I got a little bit of sticker shock from it when I saw what he paid. Guess it's the new normal.

This was in Timmins, Ontario.

I picked up a brick of CCI SV the other day, shelf said $55 but it rang through as $67 - was told that is the new price, thank the US dollar. I said they can charge what they like, but I won't be buying much at that price.
