What is the right place to buy bullets nowadays?

THe only place you are going to find reasonably priced ammo is 5 years ago. Hopefully the Americans will chill the #### out soon so we can MAYBE see prices come back down.

try to find a place that doesnt move much inventory and you may find some stuff from the past 2-4 years of lower prices

Heck I am happy to find a place that has the bullets my favorite load uses, I am pretty much willing to pay any price for them. The price and scarcity of reloading components has kept me from regular range sessions, saving my rounds to use on gophers in case I cannot get anymore for a long time.

sorry that doesn't mean crap. i've been at wss and have seen old price tags on old(very old) bullets and the price at the register is the new price. I don't think there is anyone that sells old stock at old price. at least nobody i know.

and it's not the last 2-4 years it's the last 6-8months.

Ma and Pa run shops in small towns (non networked, point of sale PC's). They don't have the resources or ability to stay abreast of the pricing trends. I recently stumbled into a little shop in Tofield, AB. Still had a selection of what I required, and for a good price.

shop I work in will honor sticker price if its less than what the computer says. Its a big job to change the sticker prices on an entire wall of ammo/bullets, Ive had to change sticker prices a few times (both up & down) and its not much fun

If you're talking pistol ammo - here is what I saw - no pistol ammo in 9mm, .40 or .45 (except a few very expensive JHP boxes of 20 or 25pcs per box) in any store I visited in WA and MI within last week. CBP guy I was talking to also complained he couldn't get any .380 ammo for his personal gun for a long time now...
