I have a 2 and 3 lbs spring. I think stock is 5 lbs.... at what weight does one have to start worrying about it not firing properly?

Even its a target gun I want reliability of a bit of trigger pull

I have a 2 lb with the zev firing pin but I haven’t shot it enough to pronounce it reliable. With the 3lb it didn’t give me any issues.

Muck with anything you want on a Glock, but don’t #### with the striker spring. Probably the most common user error I’ve ever heard about both in person and online.

Unless you load your own ammo and use the softest primers you can buy, you may be in the clear but a gun that doesn’t shoot the majority of factory ammo isn’t what I call reliable.

I found a 4 lbs spring and am using that for now :)

Been using a 4 lb striker spring for years, only issue was when, unintentionally, I got some lube in the striker channel and it slowed the spring down a bit, caused a few misfires. Once cleaned, back to normal. I would not go under 4 lb myself.

But if you want 100% reliability, keep it stock at 5.5 lb.
