Bought this .22 from a fellow CGN'r rescently. Does anyone know what it is or anything about it? It has no markings on it what so ever. Its a single shot that pivots sideways. The lower tube is the barrel. The second trigger looking deal is the release to open the action. Its neat, I like it, I just don't know what the heck it is.

Its a Bronco, marketed by Firearms International.
How was it transferred without being identified? Is there no information on the registration certificate?

Made in Brazil by Rossi.
Marketed by Firearms International Corp, Bauer, Garcia and Interarms.
Should be marked on left side of buttplate, serial number should be on bottom of grip.
FRT # probably 35680-1.
Probably 30-odd years old.

Yeah. I have one of these too. I believe they called it a Bronco. It was nicknamed a skeleton gun. I think they made these in .410 also.

A neat takedown gun but crappy sights and it doesn't seem very accurate.

Survival Weapons

I have the identical weapon except in .410. They are originally survivalist weapons designed to breakdown and be carried in a back pack. I haven't been able to hunt down a manufacturer yet though.

Would you be interested in parting with it? Might be neat to have the set.

It's a nice little survival gun. My uncle has one, as well, I remember asking him about it while looking at his gun cabinet.

reminds me of the bicycle gun sears sold in the early 1900's, they were a skeletonised bolt action .22 with a fully colapable wire stock, could be used as a long barreled pistol or a short rifle, sold to "Outdoor Enthusiasts", hikers, campers and cyclists, but it was called the bicycle gun because it was just a frame of tubes and wire.

This one is pretty neat
