I picked up a Stag arms lpk on the EE and when i finished installing the parts I had one part left over and i can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

Here are some pictures:

I have some of those, but they didn't come in a Stag kit - where'd you get it? I wouldn't mind a few spare proper hammers. Incidentally, just to set things straight for those confused by this, there is nothing even remotely illegal about possessing that part, or an FA hammer, disconnector, bolt carrier group, or selector. It's not legal to have a full auto lower, everything else is (irrelevant) fair game.

I assume if the kit came with the FA sear, it came with the FA trigger group and hammer aswell... All one would be missing is a FA BCG which one probably has, and some time on a mill. But that would not be nice and who knows how many children would be armed? Did you think about it? The children!

When the thought of illegality crosses my mind, it isn't the children I consider, it's how much I hate the thought of my "exit door" getting enlarged in a prison laundry. If you think of it that way, it's easier to choose the right path.

Yeah having some is almost sad. Just look at the lower... look at the parts... sigh... continue on with life knowing the rules are so ridiculous but that one in particular will likely never change.

Then I think of ammo costs and I'm like... maybe it's saving me.

found it on the EE

Marstar was selling a bunch of M16 lower parts kits a couple months back. Perfectly legal and common. You just don't put in the parts that don't fit.

I was going to make a joke about them "Fitting easily" Just the thought crossing my mind resulted in a knock at my front door.
