What is this on my BCG?

Hi fellow gun nuts. I have recently started shooting Barnaul steel ammo. Much to my horror, I noticed that there were some black spots on my BCG. I tried to scratch them off gently with my fingernail to no avail. Can anyone tell me what they are? Are those rust or just foulings baked onto the BCG? How to get them off? Thanks alot for the help!
Btw, the BCG isn't even 3 months old.

what are the properties and brand of the bcg?
nickel boron coated? ect
would help in providing a soloution to the removal of those spots but it depends what surface finish your working with

Thanks! This is just the stock BCG that came with the Norinco/DA CQA. Not sure what it is made of.
 
That far back on the bolt is probably just the finish from your upper, nothing worth worry about, it is a BCG not a eating utensil!

It is a cheap chinese rifle. Does it continue to work? Then who really cares what the BCG looks like?

The newbie experience wouldn't be complete without some teasing. I don't mind it at all.:cool:

For those interested, I soaked the BCG in some Otis O12 MSR/AR cleaning solvent for an hour and scrubbed it with 0000 steel wool. It didn't take a single spot off. And it is not just on the end of the BCG, the bolt itself is covered with the same black spots too.

It may not be my ##### or utensil but I would like to take good care of my guns. Maybe this is caused by my improper maintenance. I cannot convince myself to purchase a multi-thousand dollar firearm if I cannot maintain a cheap Norinco.

It's probably just chinese steel and not improper maintenance.
 
Looks like there is a slight coating of something, unless it's just the picture. I've seen some coatings "stain" with very minute rust... Not sure how to get it off, but IMO oiling would prevent more if that's what it is
 
slap in a daniel defense bolt carrier group and buy some mid grade american ammo and you will never get the herp again, well at least on your bcg lol.
