What is this?

I bought a box of American eagle .223 and when I opened the box this one stuck out as it has a noticeably darker coloured case then the others.
Labelled SBMC 223 instead of all the others which are FC 223 REM. Anyone have info on this? More specifically how it may have ended up in a box of American eagle?

Comparison of the two. Darker one on the right is the mystery cartridge.

That IAA thread seems a bit confusing. Just to clarify, it is definitely from the Philippines.
I would guess that someone at the place you bought the box was comparing ammo and simply put the wrong ammo into the wrong box.

Yes that is something that happened in the store and not the factory. Phil.
