I always thought this was a cooey. Was told today it may not be. It has no markings at all.

Your pic of the receiver to blurry on my screen. Its a Cooey, not sure which model. Stock with no butt plate and knob pistol grip and style of trigger guard along with small dia bolt knob dates it to mid 1930s. Whats it say on the receiver, may be able to give more info----Cowboy
 
sure looks like a cooey mod 39 although the stock has been sanded down hard.

Unusual that it doesn't have any markings, might be something cooey made for another retailer?
 
Yeah after a closer look it does say Cooey .22 and thats all ( cant beleive i missed it) any way no model #. Sorry guys my bad should have looked harder before posting been in the cabinet for years.
