Surplusrifles .com is no more. It seems due to an ownership suit.

I clicked on a January date archive

Type in www.surplusrifle.com and click on "Vergueiro" and "bolt disassembly" as you would normally.
I downloaded and saved the .pdf for it.

Guess I'll have to move up the priority on a bolt video for it.

Correct.
Chamber for this official converted 1904 Verguerio is 8x57JS, A.K.A. 8mm Mauser

Just be aware the the weak US loading can make the P.O.I, quite a bit off compared to the European loads.

Last weak I compared 8mm Mauser 170gr Winchester soft point to 196 gr S&B. 7 inch difference at 50 yds with open sights. The Winchester shooting low left at 7:30

Well I just spoke with him at lunchtime and he apparently went to one of our local shops that has 8mm mauser ammunition and it didn't fit???

Fed from magazine would be important as diopter said.

Also, was it 7.92x57mm or another "8mm" Mauser ammo....?
